  • Pro-Palestinian locals attack supporters of Israeli football team Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C. after a match with AFC Ajax in Amsterdam, Netherlands, following instances of anti-Palestinian and anti-Arab chants and vandalism by Maccabi ultras. At least 30 people are injured, with five hospitalized, and 62 people are arrested. • Deforestation of the Amazon rainforest
  • The Brazilian environment and climate change ministry reports that deforestation in the Amazon rainforest decreased by 30.6% compared to last year, the lowest level in nine years. • Ukraine–United States relations
  • The United States lifts its ban on deploying military contractors to Ukraine, thereby enabling American companies to directly assist with the maintenance and repair of U.S.-made weapons, such as F-16 fighter aircraft and Patriot air defense systems.
